It’s been awhile since I’ve updated on here! I guess I need to get started back into blogging! We’ve been a bit busy during the winter months!
Both of my son’s play hockey, so this year my oldest son, Brody, played Pee-Wee House and my youngest son, Caden, played Mite House hockey. With both of them in sports, it’s pretty much every day we had something to do so it was very hard to get anything else accomplished all winter long!
I love to watch them play hockey though, it’s truly something they both love to do. Some say we are crazy because of the cost, the time commitments or the busy schedule but you know what? It keeps them from spending tons of hours just sitting in front of the TV or iPad, it keeps them physically active and it makes them gain new friend’s that they wouldn’t of met at school. Hockey brings all different towns around us together and we have met some great families because of hockey! They truly become “family” since we see each other so often and it’s a great time for parents too. Both kids are playing other sports this spring, Brody is playing lacrosse and Caden is doing soccer and hockey right now. I love that they love sports and it’s great to sit around and watch NHL games and listen to them talk about stats and information about sports together. It’s a great brotherly bonding experience.
Anyways enough with my kids and there sports! Let’s get into the good stuff, my crafts! I’m still working and selling things through my Etsy Shop and my Facebook page! It was a bit slower these winter months just because I didn’t have the time to commit to making new things for everyone but I still try and keep the fresh juices going for new ideas!
