These next few days here in Michigan, the weather is in the mid 50’s to early 60’s and it feels amazing. We finally have the sun shining after a very dull January and maybe some of this sunshine will help lift some spirits and winter blah moods.
We are in the last month of hockey season, with a practice with the MSU Hockey team under our belts, a shootout game during the MSU/Wisconsin hockey game and a hockey tournament this next weekend. Brody started playoffs last night and he has a busy next few weeks with that finishing up. He plays PeeWee B hockey and loves it!! Caden is on a Squirt B hockey team and it’s his passion right now.
Caden has started indoor baseball practice and Lacrosse has started for Brody although he hasn’t got to do much practices because hockey gets in the way still.
Spring is right around the corner and I can’t wait for the backyard to look like this again! Green grass, pretty flowers and bright sun shining on our backs! We all need a little sunshine now and again. In just a few shorts weeks it will be spring break, and then we will have baseball and lacrosse to sit outside in hopefully warm weather instead of a cold hockey rink.
